One app to replace five tools on your desktop
SSH · Telnet · RDP · VNC · serial · SFTP, unlimited jump hosts, background tunnels, an AI agent and scripts — plus full remote desktop from your phone.
Full Windows remote desktop, from your phone
Not a viewer — a real RDP client built into the app. Trackpad or direct touch, pinch-zoom, two-finger scroll, right-click, hardware keys and modifier locks, at a desktop resolution your phone letterboxes instead of squashing. No gateway, no desktop relay: the phone speaks RDP itself.
Unlimited jump hosts, one drag to route through them
Keep your bastion hosts in one list and drag one onto any server: connect through it just this once, or bind it permanently. Behind several bastions? Chain the hops in order. Terminal, SFTP, tunnels and VNC all take the same route, and Pro removes the cap.
Local, remote and SOCKS5 tunnels that outlive the terminal
Reach a port behind the server, let the server reach one on your side, or browse through it as a SOCKS5 proxy. Tunnels run apart from any terminal and share one SSH connection per server; set them to start with XConnect and they reconnect on their own when the link drops.
Cross-platform RDP remote desktop
Connect to Windows desktops from Windows, macOS or Linux. Most SSH clients don't do RDP at all, and most RDP clients are Windows-only; XConnect runs the same RDP client on all three — and on your phone.
VNC and serial consoles, next to your SSH tabs
Open Linux VNC desktops and macOS Screen Sharing, scaled to the pane or view-only, through your jump hosts if needed. Plug in a USB-serial adapter for switches, routers and dev boards, with baud rate, parity and flow control. Both are in the free plan.
AI agent that runs your terminal, not just answers questions
Press one shortcut and describe the task in plain language. The agent reads your real terminal output, runs the commands and stops to confirm anything destructive. Select an error and it explains the cause and suggests a fix. With Pro, bring your own model: OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, Ollama or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Switch in minutes: import from Xshell, MobaXterm, PuTTY or SecureCRT
XConnect finds the sessions your old client saved — Xshell, MobaXterm, PuTTY, SecureCRT, FinalShell — or reads your ~/.ssh/config. Folders become groups, jump hosts and port forwards come along, and connections you already have are skipped. Passwords those tools lock with their own key are asked for once, on first connect.
Workspaces: your whole layout, back in one click
Split any tab into up to four panes, save the tabs and panes you have open as a workspace — say, 'Production' or 'Staging' — and reopen every session at once. XConnect can also pick up where you left off each time it starts.
Broadcast input: type once, run in every pane
Turn on broadcast and what you type in one pane goes to every terminal in the tab — or only to the panes you Ctrl+click. Patch a row of identical servers in one pass.
Snippets with fill-in variables
Keep the commands you type every day one click away. Mark the parts that change as variables and XConnect asks for them before sending; the host, user and date fill in by themselves from the current server.
Script center: batch runs, run history and cron schedules
Bash, Python or JavaScript, sorted into categories with version history and changelogs. Drop a script onto open terminals, or run it in the background on a whole list of servers — five at a time, with each server's output and exit code kept in the run history. Schedule it every N minutes or with a cron expression.
Two-pane SFTP, plus files dropped straight into the terminal
This computer and the server side by side, with up to 100 parallel transfers and one-click retry. Double-click a remote file to edit it in your own editor — every save uploads. Drop files onto a terminal to upload them to its current folder, or use rz and sz.
Live monitor for the server you're on
A side panel tracks the connected server's CPU, load, memory, swap, network, disks and busiest processes as they change. On the connections page, one click pings every host and color-codes its latency — no login needed.
SSH key library — or just your SSH agent
Keep private keys in one encrypted library and link each to as many servers as you like — never stored as plain text. Rather keep them in your agent? Sign in with the keys in Windows OpenSSH, Pageant or 1Password, and forward the agent to servers you trust.
Unlimited devices, end-to-end encrypted
Phone, laptop, work desktop — no device cap and no per-seat pricing. Connections, groups, scripts, keys, tunnels and notes sync as ciphertext the server cannot read, and anything you mark 'this device only' never leaves the device at all.
Your data, your server, your rules
Don't want credentials near our cloud? Point sync at a server you run yourself — same end-to-end encryption, zero vendor lock-in. Official cloud also available.
Full-featured before you ever sign in
Connections, groups, scripts, and encrypted local storage all work completely offline with zero account. Sign in only when you actually want multi-device sync — not before.
Tamper-evident audit log
Every command is logged in a cryptographic chain — and you can prove it. One click runs an integrity check that verifies whether any entry has been altered, pinpointing the exact record if anything was changed. Exportable and built for teams where 'tamper-evident' needs to mean something.
Plus the details you'll use every day
All in the desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux.
